Terms of Service
1. The service
HerSubtext provides AI-generated readings of relationship conversations that you choose to upload. A reading is an interpretation of communication patterns — it is produced by an AI model and may be incomplete or wrong.
2. Not professional advice
HerSubtext is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or crisis support, and no reading creates a professional relationship of any kind. If you are in distress or feel unsafe, please contact local emergency services or a licensed professional. Decisions about your relationships are yours alone.
3. Accounts
You sign in with your email address (magic link or Google). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your report links private — a report link opens the report, like a password.
4. Acceptable use
You may only upload conversations that you are a party to or otherwise have the right to share. You must not upload content that is illegal, that violates another person's rights, or that belongs to a minor. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, harassment, or attempts to probe or overload the service.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the conversations you upload. You grant us the limited right to process them solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. Prices and paid features
The first full report costs $1.99, then you pay per reading — $3.99 for one report or $6.99 for three. Purchases are one-time; there is no subscription. A preview of your conversation is free, and credits are added to your account once payment is confirmed. If an analysis fails, the credit is returned — failed analyses are never billed. Prices and billing terms are presented before any purchase. We may change or remove features with reasonable notice.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI-generated readings are probabilistic interpretations, not facts, and should never be treated as proof of another person's intentions or character. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HerSubtext and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including decisions you make based on a reading — or for any amount exceeding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
