How to analyze a text conversation

To analyze a conversation, gather a few objective facts first — message ratio, initiation, reply timing, and whether plans happen — then compare those facts to what the person claims. Ask directly about the gap instead of inventing meaning.
Gather the receipts
Count who starts, who asks questions, and how long replies take. Concrete facts are harder to distort than tone.
Look for the pattern
One good day or one bad day does not define a relationship. Compare the last two weeks to the previous two.
Turn the gap into a question
When words and actions do not match, the mismatch is the finding. Name it calmly and ask for clarity.
